Upcoming CrossRoad Events

Midweek Recharge – Get “recharged” by studying God’s Word and praying with others.  Pastor Dave will be leading the Midweek Recharge on Wednesday Evenings from 7 – 8:30 pm at LifeSpace (our new building in Horn Lake). We’ll be getting back to the basics as we study our way through a book of the Bible and spend some time praying for others and the mission of CrossRoad Church.  Childcare will be available.  Bring a friend and get “recharged.” No time to go home after work, no problem.  We will have LifeSpace open at 6 p.m. grab something to eat and come fellowship before we study.

Women’s Bible Group -  Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.  We are studying the Beth Moore series: A Woman’s Heart:  God’s Dwelling Place.”  Contact Heidi Lewis or Brenda Zesch by email or call 512.632.7972 for more info.  The group will meet at Jamie’s house in Hernando this week. We are on lesson 8.

LifeSpace is looking great!  Can you help with some finishing touches?  The schedule is a bit flexible but helpers are needed. Contact Brenda to volunteer.

Needed for LifeSpace – a small video surveillance system – used is fine with two – four cameras.  Also needed is someone to lay carpets at little or no cost.  Contact Brenda or Dave if you know someone to help.

Hernando Play Days is Saturday, September 25 at Conger Park.  9 a.m. to 1 p.m. We will be handing out free crosses, CrossRoad and LifeSpace material, face-painting, offering prayers and maybe a few more things.  This is an advanced notice so you can put it on your calendars.

Kroger Cards – One of the easiest ways to help the mission of CrossRoad Church is to use a Kroger Gift Card for all your groceries and/or gas.  Kroger donates 5% to the church on all money placed on the card.  You can still use your Kroger plus card and when placing money on the gift card…you can pay with cash, credit or debit card or check.  Buy the special Kroger Gift Card from Brenda for $5 ($5 is already on the card!).

Schnucks Customer Care Card – Get your Schnucks Customer Card from Brenda, register your card and you will now generate funds for CrossRoad Church. Register with eScrip by calling 1-800-931-6258, stopping by the customer care desk at Schnucks or by clicking Here and following these instructions:

  • Click on Schnucks Customer Card
  • Click on Register Online Now
  • Find CrossRoad Church (Cross Road Church – two words) or search by city – Hernando)
  • Follow the rest of the instructions.
